Patient Services and Care at Costamed

For the convenience of our patients, families, and companions, we have a Patient Services and Admissions Department that acts as a liaison to assist with any administrative procedures, including those of the hospital itself, insurance companies, assistance and travel, immigration procedures, and logistics.

Our Patient Services and Admissions team is dedicated to ensuring your comfort during your stay. We are committed to providing pleasant accommodations and personalized care. International patients and their families will be assisted by bilingual advisors (Spanish-English). If interpretation is needed in a different language, a team member can arrange for an interpreter. Some of the services we offer include:

  • Referrals to a doctor and appointments
  • Coordination of emergency and elective medical care
  • Repatriation of remains (exclusively in Cozumel)
  • Hotel and flight reservations
  • Expense estimation advice
  • Language interpretation
  • Arrangement of religious services
  • Assistance with insurance companies
  • Liaison with local authorities and consulates

Planning for your hospital stay is easy with our preparation list for a pleasant experience at Costamed.
