Radiology is the medical specialty dedicated to studying inner images of the body generated through analog technology (such as X-rays) or digital technology (such as Computerized Tomography). The objective of developing these images is to obtain valuable information to support the generation of accurate diagnoses or predict, prevent and treat diseases.
There is also a branch known as "Interventional Radiology," where the images generated are used to perform procedures, such as introducing catheters, wires, and other instruments.
